This time of year it’s all too easy for your daily dinners to become an afterthought. And even when you do remember, it can sometimes feel like an overwhelming undertaking. Instead of worrying about what you'll fix for dinner tonight, try Kroger Skillet Meals. They are an easy option for a between-the-big-meals dinner choice they can make in only 10 minutes!

I really want to try the chicken fajita one, but they didn't have it at my local store. We tried Orange Chicken and Sausage Rigatoni. Try some and let me know what you think!

By now you know that I am a BzzAgent and I get free samples. I love trying new things and telling you about the ones that I really enjoyed.

One of my most recent campaigns was for Buitoni. I tried the Chicken Marsala Ravioli and it was delicious! I will have them again, no doubt about it. Since I #GotItFree, I also used a coupon and tried the Shrimp Ravioli. They weren't as good, in my opinion, as the Chicken Marsala - but, they were still excellent quality.

I simply followed the directions, and then I made a simple sauce with fresh tomatoes, onions, basil and olive oil (plus seasonings.) The second time, I used a brown butter sauce, with italian herbs (for the shrimp one.)

Try Butternut Squash Agnolotti, Chicken Marsala Ravioli, Spicy Beef & Sausage Ravioli, Wild Mushroom Agnolotti and their NEW seafood varieties.

The life of a dog trainer...

So, I guess I should take advantage of this blog thing. A blog is a we(b log)...so, I might as well start logging in more often. :)

I have decided to get into CGC training. I have been a trainer since around 2000, and I have yet to get my evaluator badge. It should be very simple. I have to do an online, open book test. THAT should be easy enough...and I have to pay $50, but that is for two years. Then, it is $35 to renew - every two years.

If I do get it, that could add in some extra income to my budget. Even at $10 a dog - that can add up, quickly. I just need to advertise, advertise, advertise!

Album Review

So, I received the Sentimental Journey CD, through One 2 One Network and I really am impressed. I was on the fence about this album, from the start. Knowing that Emmy Rossum was an actress, got me wondering if she was another wanna-be. However, I think her voice is great and her song choices were, for the most part, spot on.

There were some songs that were a little slow...meaning that they just didn't have the flair to hold my attention for long. However, some were excellent.

The first track is a true classic - the title track. It was a little slow, but I love the fact that they went with original harmonies. I loved singing along.

Didn't really care for the next two tracks, sounding a little too Broadway.
But, I loved "These Foolish Things." - great arrangement - great voice. I was impressed with this one.

The album continues in the same vein and I really enjoy the waltz back through time. I have always harbored a love for early 20th century music and this really satisfies.

The song that I was most expectant of and most disappointing was "Autumn Leaves." I really wanted a much more soft, sad and romantic feel - rather then the French version she chose.

And, lastly, I didn't care for the last track. I thought the album should have ended on a more wistful note.

All in all, it was a good try for Emmy Rossum.

My newest campaign from BzzAgent is for MorningStar Farms.

I love being a member of BzzAgent and having the privilege of trying new products and giving you my opinion.

If you have tried any of their recipes or products - please, let me know what you think and I'll pass on your reviews.

If have never tried their recipes, go to https://www.morningstarfarms.com/recipes and check out all of their options! I had no idea that they had so many products, now.

I mean, I have seen their products before...but, just never got around to trying them.

I hope they are as yummy as they sound! And, I #GotItFree !!

I recently received a BzzAgent kit (I'm an agent. ;) ) and it was for Smartfoods!

They have popcorn, puffed corn, popped chips, and granola corn (sounds interesting.)

They both sweet and savory flavors. My fav., so far, is the Garlic Tomato Basil Hummus Popped Chips

"By roasting the garlic in this hummus-based popped chip, we've caramelized its natural sugars to give it a sweet flavor. Parmesan, tomato, basil, and thyme complement the garlic in this scrumptious, smart combination." Yum.

Check them out. Healthy snacks!

Kylie - The Abbey Road Sessions

Disclaimer: I participated in this campaign for One2One Network. I received a free copy of the CD to facilitate my review. By posting, I am eligible for incentives. All opinions stated are my own. :) Okay, now that that's done - on to the good stuff.

I have been listening to the album this week and I can honestly say that some of the songs are very good.  Overall, it isn't quite my style.  There are still a few songs that I might put on my MP3 player, though :)  All in all, it is a good album for its' genre.

  • The Abbey Road Sessions features sixteen tracks, all radically reworked, spanning Kylie’s incredible twenty-five-year career. It was recorded in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios with Kylie’s band and a full orchestra. The album features many of Kylie’s best-known hits and previously unreleased tracks. Over all sixteen tracks, one thing becomes very clear—stripped of her high-end pop production, the emotional resonance of Kylie’s songs has never been clearer, and her voice has never sounded better.
  • Kylie has...60 million global album sales, multiple hit singles, global tours, and industry accolades...

I think it is great that Kylie is a breast cancer survivor and donates her time to American Cancer Society, as well as amFAR for AIDS research.

*Her latest single “Flower” (Track 13) is a song she wrote several years ago, following her battle with breast cancer, to the child she wishes she might one day still have.
