I recently received a BzzAgent kit (I'm an agent. ;) ) and it was for Smartfoods!

They have popcorn, puffed corn, popped chips, and granola corn (sounds interesting.)

They both sweet and savory flavors. My fav., so far, is the Garlic Tomato Basil Hummus Popped Chips

"By roasting the garlic in this hummus-based popped chip, we've caramelized its natural sugars to give it a sweet flavor. Parmesan, tomato, basil, and thyme complement the garlic in this scrumptious, smart combination." Yum.

Check them out. Healthy snacks!

Kylie - The Abbey Road Sessions

Disclaimer: I participated in this campaign for One2One Network. I received a free copy of the CD to facilitate my review. By posting, I am eligible for incentives. All opinions stated are my own. :) Okay, now that that's done - on to the good stuff.

I have been listening to the album this week and I can honestly say that some of the songs are very good.  Overall, it isn't quite my style.  There are still a few songs that I might put on my MP3 player, though :)  All in all, it is a good album for its' genre.

The Abbey Road Sessions Track Listing:

  • The Abbey Road Sessions features sixteen tracks, all radically reworked, spanning Kylie’s incredible twenty-five-year career. It was recorded in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios with Kylie’s band and a full orchestra. The album features many of Kylie’s best-known hits and previously unreleased tracks. Over all sixteen tracks, one thing becomes very clear—stripped of her high-end pop production, the emotional resonance of Kylie’s songs has never been clearer, and her voice has never sounded better.
  • Kylie has...60 million global album sales, multiple hit singles, global tours, and industry accolades...

I think it is great that Kylie is a breast cancer survivor and donates her time to American Cancer Society, as well as amFAR for AIDS research.

*Her latest single “Flower” (Track 13) is a song she wrote several years ago, following her battle with breast cancer, to the child she wishes she might one day still have.

Just checking it out...

So, should I have a blog?

I don't really want one, but everyone seems to expect it - especially in word-of-mouth marketing programs.  Sooo, I guess this is my destination for all things related to what I'm thinking...therefor, The Symphony of the Mind.

I guess today, I will write about what I made for lunch.  You'll find that I will post a lot about cooking.  I enjoy it (except for prep and clean-up.)

I had roasted cabbage and roasted acorn squash.  A first for both.  Obviously, I have had cabbage.  This time, I made it like I make my kale chips and it was yummy.  We also decided to do the last acorn squash we had.  I had never tried acorn squash before.  Mom likes it, though.  I didn't like it mashed - how she has it...but, I did like it roasted.  It needed a bit more seasoning, though.

Final thoughts - I'd do it, again.
